Serenity nodded she couldn't be thinking that way now of all times. It was awful of her to. Following Shimo she wanted to walk in font, but her sharp sight wasn't that great at this point. Besides being behind him she was able to help him should he stumble.
Serenity followed to the path he was talking about it did take a slight incline.
"Lets just hope it doesn't start dropping back down... We can not afford to get too lost." She said running her hand up her other arm. Her ears laying back against her head not much caring for the situation at this point. She was trying not to worry, but it couldn't be helped. Even if they got out they had no clue how bad the storm was or if it have even passed. They would still have to make it down the mountain to one of the villages.
Serenity started up the slight incline behind Shimo making sure to support him if he needed it.

Shimo took a deep breath. His leg was killing him with all the walking they were doing, but he wasn't about to stop. He could survive in the cold no problem, but he was worried about Serenity.
The tunnel continued upwards, becoming a more steep incline. He walked, occasionally looking down at his leg. His footing was fine, he didn't need to worry about slipping, what he worried about what his leg giving out.
They walked for what had to have been close to half an hour. Shimo's leg had become numb with the pain and he was about to stop when he noticed light ahead of them.
"Serenity! Do you see that! There's light, we must be getting close to getting out of here!"
Ignoring his pain he quickened his pace. The source of the light was still a good ten minutes walking distance away from them and he didn't want to waste any time.

Serenity didn't want to be a bother, but she could feel her body becoming weaker by the moments. It only meant that sunset was coming closer in the world above.
It was just a grand refile as Shimo remarked about the light. For once her ears pricked up seeing the light ahead of them. It also could have meant the storm was over or at least not as bad as before. Still the temapure was a great deal colder then a human could withstand for too long. Not completely sure how far up the mountain they were.
Following quickly behind him she could only hope for the best once they reached the light. It was a struggle but as they neared the light she was only hoping for Shimo to reply with some good news. They needed it at this point.
