The city was alive with markets and people. Even in the late afternoon when the sun was the highest and the heat the greatest. The port city was completely full of life at every turn.
That was not what drew in the wandering Sin to the city. It was more the odd smells that called to her from afar. Having taken in the many smells and assortments of things she had seen coming out of the city. Sitting up in a tree just outside. Watching the people leave in their carriages and on horse back. There was always something new to see each time a new person would come from within.
It wasn't however until she took notice to a person with food she ventured in. Sneaking by the foot of a guard as she walked into the crowd. Trying to avoid being stepped on as her nose pointed the way so something delicious.
Finding a small vendor of fried fish set up on a corner of a street. Her tail moving swiftly from side to side not even taking notice to anything but the single fish hanging off the edge.
Sin's small cat body aiding her ability to sneak close to the area. Carefully leaning up like a sly creature. Eying the merchant every few seconds to avoid being caught now. Being ever so careful that all seemed to rush away as the taste of the fish filled her mouth. Sin's small teeth sinking to the tasty item and that was when her eyes came off the merchant.
The next few seconds were full of screams and angry yells. Sin's heart jumped and raced as she just avoid the cleaver coming down to hit her. Rushing off into the merchants cart was no better an idea. Corner in no time by the short fat man with the knife Sin let out a low cry in panic.

Yari walked slowly down the street, doing what could be called a once-monthly food binge shopping spree. Every so often, Yari had chanced upon some money and would wander into town to buy some (what she would consider to be) delicacy foods. The smells and sights of the morning market were always exciting for her, anyway, and the crowd was easy to get lost in. A small ruckus and an unidentified noise caught Yari's attention and she quickly fell in love with the cute creature soon to be slaughtered. "Hey!" Yari's youthful voice shouted as she ran to the scence. "I'll buy that alive! Don't kill it!"

Her attention already being so short Sin looked to the person who had spoke. The Merchant as well drawing his gaze toward her. Sin didn't waste anytime as she dashed over to Yari climbing up her back quickly and hiding her face into Yari's neck as Sin cuddled on her shoulder. Shaking as she looked with one eye at the angry Merchant.
"Take the stupid beast for all I care!" He yelled picking up the fish that had fallen.
"Just keep it away from my cart... Animals.. bad for business." He finished in low mumbles going back to his business.
Seeing the man leaving to busy himself Sin sat up on Yari's shoulder. Her long tail wrapping partly around her rescuers neck as it tapped Yari's other shoulder.

Yari gave an disgusted look to the merchant's back and walked away from the stand. "You alright there, little one?" Yari asked, gently stroking the head of the odd creature that had perched itself on her shoulder. "You're an odd sort of animal, you are," Yari observed out loud as they walked. "You hungry? What do you like? I'll get you something." Yari felt pretty confident that this small animal had no idea what Yari was telling her. That last guy was a fish merchant, so the animal must like fish. She stopped at the next fish stand, looked at the aquatic animals laid out and ready to eat. She searched for something small enough for her to feed her new friend quickly and easily. Anchovies and sardiens were pretty small. "Want some fish?" Yari asked.

Ragnar had already been caught in the commotion, he didn't want to do anything straining today, yesterdays experience still leaving him a little sore bodied, still he couldn't just sit around lazing the whole day, choosing to wander the market. His gaze had immediately stuck on the creature, himself quite upset it had been caught. Still that girl had quickly come to the small cat-like creatures rescue.
Unlike her, he didn't have to save up, he was well off but hated to admit it, just doing what he could and more, always getting bored, keeping himself out of trouble as much as he could basically meant he ended up doing more and more 'jobs' for money he didn't particuly need.
He had been standing on sideline of things, out of the way of people as much as possible, even in the afternoon people were as busy as ever, only just able to hear what Yari had said.
Immediately moving forward he heistated before putting a hand on her arm to just get her attention, the merchant at this particular stall currently dealing with someone else, still his voice was low, "I wouldn't reccomend the fish from this stool, they have been out all day and arent fresh anyway, I doubt anything could eat it and say it tasted allright" he tried to lighten his tone at the end of the sentance realising just what he had done with launching himself into interacting with this person without really knowing who she was or anything

Sin was more then happy for the new friend as she wandered around her shoulders. Making a light purring sound as her purple fur brushed against Yari's neck. Moving onto the top of her head Sin sat there perfectly. Having a great deal of a balance as she looked down at all the food. Her long tail moving back and forth in a happy manner to be out and about.
Studying the fish her attention was drawn to Ragnar as soon as she spotted him so close to her new friend. As he spoke of the fish Sin jumped onto his head giving an odd yet friendly purring sound as she now circled his shoulders.

Yari turned to see a new person addressing her. She blinked, assessing him. "Thanks," she answered. "Where should I go to feed her?" she asked, watching as Sin moved from her shoulders to the new guy's, not really seeming to care about the comfort of the person she crawled on. How cute this creature was. She wondered how long it would stay around.

"Ah, now, see, the fish you did want is from the vendor that this little thing tried to steal from" Ragnar explained while smiling lightly, half kicking himself inside for jumping forward so readily, she didn't seem all to genuinly happy with his advice, still he didn't mind Sin jumping on him, his left hand coming up to pet her, if not cautious whether she would bite him, she seemed active and playful enough, still he couldn't tell.
"Sorry, I seemed to have stolen your pet from you," he came out with lighlty, his fingers just rubbing at the back of Sin's ears, "What about fruit? Or something vegetable-like..." he pondered his thoughts openly, still trying to come off as friendly, still he contradicted his Demon-like appearance.
"Maybe it's carnivorous?"
