Kanael continued to watch, waiting for one of the beings togo down and not get back up.

Earolas was more than a little irritated that Azmi had stolen his thunder by attacking his target and more over doing an inefficient job at best. The creature had barely even hit the ground and muscles and tendons reflexively tightened in the deadly assassins legs as he hurled himself toward the fallen beast.
The Drow landed on the heaving chest of the fallen ogre and with a lightning quick flash drove his blades home into the soft flesh of the beast’s neck nearly severing its head. Blood spurted from the wound like water from a fountain soaking Earolas in gore. Unfazed the stone cold killer stopped only for a moment to regard the lifeless glassy stare of the ogre before springing into action once more closing in on the second beast.

Yume brought her right hand up; never leaving the battle stance she was in and muttered a few more words. Her hand gained a flame aura and she brought it down, a flaming whip lashing out at the remaining beast.
The whip struck it once, searing it’s flesh before the whip was brought down a final time and burst, incinerating the final beast, leaving only ash behind.
Yume let out a huff, taking a more relaxed position and looked to the others around her, “Is everyone alright?”
She would have offered healing but she could no longer heal, a fact that bothered her to no end. She sighed once more, looking at the destruction the rampaging beasts caused, and pulling her hood down, but still leaving her lower face covered. She wiped a hand across her forehead, brushing a loose strand of hair behind her ear.
She walked over to the remaining body and looked down at it, her brows furrowing. She looked to Azmi, “Were these creatures native to this area?”

Azmi looked up at Yume. "I've been back and forth through these woods a hundred times and never have I seen them," Azmi said through a huff. His eyes focused maliciously on the bloodied Earolas. Earolas Baenre. He should kill that assassin now. Both he and Yume were frighteningly powerful.
Zoe raised a hand from the background, with Kanael. "Where's Millie and Michelle?" She asked, sounding more than a bit shaken.
Azmi turned to see her as she spoke, then his eyes darted around, searching for the two in the debris.

Kanael hopped down from his tree and quickly made his way to the bodies. He kicked one and turned to Yume. "Pardon me," he said, a ravenous hunger in his eye. "They are dead, correct?"

Millie calmly walked out of the forest; she had a small cut along her arm due to a root that snagged her arm as a tree fell over. She paused to look at it. It was nothing serious. Instead of meeting with the others right away, she slowly walked over to her bag and cloak and put them back on. When she reached the others, she gave a large smile.
“What a surprise, eh? I don’t know ‘bout you guys, but I wasn’t expecting that at all. ” she gave a good chuckle.
When her laughter faded away, she gave a quick glance over everyone. “I have medical supplies in my bag. So, if ya need any...” she paused and gestured to her large bag on her back. But, before anyone could ask for any supplies, she quickly turned to Azmi. “Are we making camp soon? I need a rough idea of how long it will be until we do.” If she had a good estimate of the time, she could spot trees that would conceal them better. It would also give her a good idea if she should bandage her arm right away or not.

Michelle over, from far behind, then looks around, staying silent, she had become shy around the new ones, though she would still talk and act normal if around Millie, and zoe, so far she had showed off her flight, abilities. when hearing thw order to get down, she did so, lowering herself quick, and staying under, beside Millie.

Zoe let out a silent sigh of relief when Millie re-appeared and Michelle ran back. "Michelle, you okay, hun?" Zoe asked her upon her arrival.
Things had calmed down, and it was time for Azmi to think back over what had just happened. Anger quickly boiled up, but he supressed it. He simply turned to Kanael, and answered him. "They're dead."
Millie was next. Azmi sighed, looked at Yume and then Earolas. "Yeah, let's set up now. I don't think the medidcal supplies will be needed." After that, Azmi took a moment to pull a few shard of wood out of his arms and hands. When that trees went crashing over them, some of the splinters had imbedded themselves in him. Oh well, he hadn't really felt it.

Kanael turned to the bodies and licked his lips. "Err..." he looked to Yume and then the rest of the group before shrugging and ripping open the chest of the dead creatures. He thrust his hand into the bloody mess and pulled out nothing. Those who were able to, saw a wiggly sphere in which Kanael suddenly ate.

*michelle looekd at zoe, then the bodies, then moved to Zoe, and huggled her, she didnt really say anything, though she was glad the older lady was ok. "now what are we gonna do?' she asked.
