Yume flinched when she saw what Kanael did. So that’s what his other half was. She was happy the mask over her lower face covered most of the look of disgust that washed over her face.
She turned away looking to Azmi, “I was afraid you’d tell me you hadn’t seen creatures like this… that doesn’t sit well.”
She looked herself over. She was unharmed; thanks to the thickness of the cloak she wore. Not that it would’ve mattered anyways, small wounds like the ones caused by wood splinters would heal fast enough that the wounds themselves would no longer be visible on her.
She shook her cloak, attempting to dislodge some splinters that had embedded themselves into the fabric. If anything she was distracting herself from the sight she’d just seen from Kanael and the uneasy feeling that rested in the pit of her stomach.
Meanwhile, far overhead another watched the scene below. She smirked before disappearing, leaving a trace amount of golden glitter behind.

The half-Fallen stood and turned, holding out bloodied hands. He stuck out his tongue in disgust and sighed. "Um, by any chance, is there a river near by?" he asked. He noticed Yume's uneasy look and sighed again. "Sorry. I was just... really hungry..."

Azmi watched with his mouth open in awe as Kanael reached his hand into the open beast and devoured something that wasn't there. He couldn't verbally respond - he was bewildered beyond words.
Zoe, on the other hand, hand't really noticed. What she paid more attention to now was the arrival of a new and familiar figure, accompanied by two much larger. His shoulders draped a purple cloak, and his short brown hair was well-kept. He was clapping a little as he walked.
"Bravo!" this new arrival shouted. "You are quite skilled, my friends. It seems you've gathered an apt group, Azmi!"
Azmi turned slowly from Kanael, and dropped to a knee as he recognized the prince of the land. He'd best pay his respects, in the land of this prince, he was still a criminal. "Thank you, sir," Azmi answered him.
"You may rise, be at ease," the prince answered, his two guards at either shoulder. "I was lucky to witness that display - " He noticed Zoe running toward him. "Let her pass," he whispered to his guards as she came. She landed in his chest with her arms around his neck. He gave her a gentle hug in response.
"I haven't seen you in a while, Thaddaeus!" she exclaimed before letting him go. "What are you doing out here? How have you been?"
Azmi glanced back at Kanael and stood up, not interrupting Zoe or the prince.

Millie was about to walk into the bush to make their camp, when a winged figure landed before them. Immediately, she became stiff. She didn’t know if these new faces were friends or foe. She was confused as to what to do. Her confusion only grew when Azmi kneeled to the man. Now, since Millie never seen or heard of the man before, she only stood in place. She didn’t even to bother hide the confused expression that was etched onto her face. When Zoe ran up to the man, she relaxed. Well, then. He couldn’t be all that bad. Throwing her bag over her shoulder, she walked over to Azmi. “Is he joining our little group, too?” She whispered, raising a brow. She would then pause to give the man a smile. If he was joining, she couldn’t let him think that she was a cold soul.

Michelle blinks running after zoe and stoped seeing the others, she blinks a little, starting to feel shy. but not too shy, as Zoe seemed to know him. she looks at azmi, as he knelt, and blinks a gian. she gulped, then moved to them, blinking, then looked at the guards. she didnt bow or kneel, because she didnt understand to..but if his guards tryed to force her, in her fear, she would make a barrior, which would push them away.

((I apologize in advance for all the back posting.))
With a burst of speed the dark figure of Earolas had nearly made it within striking distance before Yume had reduced the creature to ashes. The Drow had to pause for a minute to admire the woman’s handy work.
“Quite impressive,” he managed as he turned to face her, “I’ve not seen such spell casting skill since leaving my home.”
Inside he was relieved that at least someone in the group showed a level of competence. Glancing toward the others Earolas had caught the malicious glare of the party’s de facto leader. Such strong emotions jealousy, arrogance, fear, hatred this one could easily be turned to serve the Drow’s will. Unwilling to endure any abuse from this obviously inferior being Earolas exchanged an icy stare with Azmi.
“If you’ve got a problem fur ball why not share it with the whole class, perhaps it is you who intends to do something foolish. Now, that wouldn’t be very good for morale would it?”
The dark assassin used the bottom of his cloak to wipe the blood and gore from his swords before sheathing them. Earolas crossed his arms looking onward he took in the scene of Kanael’s brutal feast. The Drow could not help but laugh sadistically at the young mans unscrupulous actions. A moment later the prince of the land arrived, Earolas spoke not a single word nor even made any sign of acknowledgment in his presence. Earolas bowed to no man and he refused to make an exception for this mere mortal human.

Yume tilted her head ever so slightly at Earolas’s complement. To be honest she wasn’t sure how to respond to it. The comment itself added to Yume’s own puzzlement as to his origins. She was a master spell caster, and very few managed to reach the point she did. It took her hundreds, no wait, thousands of years to get her spell casting as good as it was.
She just sighed and bowed her head at Earolas as a sign of appreciation towards his complement.
She glanced back to Kanael, “Oh… goodness, I believe I can help with that.”
She dug the heel of her boot into the ground and pushed, creating a shallow divid in the ground. She repeated this twice before crouching and holding a pale hand over the hole. In a few moments the pocket of soil filled with clear water. Once she was finished, she stood.
“Wash your hands there… it’s better than waiting for a stream.”
She turned to look at the prince when he arrived. He gave her an uneasy feeling, but that was usually normal for her when dealing with people in high authority. He had a strange scent to him, as if there was a second that seemed very familiar to her, smelt slightly like peaches. She shook her head, chalking the scent up to the fact he was obviously an authority figure due to Azmi’s kneel and the way he was dressed.
She sighed and gave a shallow bow to the prince, enough that she showed her respect.

Azmi whispered back to Millie, "I sincerely hope not. That's Prince Thaddaeus..." Azmi shook his head while Zoe had him distracted. She seemed to know him at a level beyond the need for formailities. Interesting fact.
Azmi then turned to Kanael. He considered being honest and saying 'you're wierd as hell', but decided against it. "Nothing, nothing. Nevermind."
Azmi barely noticed Earolas with everything else going on. If he had used a different tone, Azmi might not have noticed at all. "Don't think I don't know who you are," Azmi replied to him, "Despite that you may not know me."
Zoe, on the other hand, was not as tense as some of her companions. As a matter of fact, she was quite happy to see her old friend.
Thaddaeus answered her question, "I have been quite well, Miss Durai." He paused for a moment, realizing just now the setting. "What are you doing with Azmi and his exploratory party? Does your father know of this?"
Zoe answered him quickly, "I was bored, and he doesn't know. But I'm all grown up, I can handle myself." Zoe had the same questions for him, but refrained from asking.
The two guards that had either of Thaddaeus's shoulder remained silent, watching everyone with suspiscious eyes. Their armor was pristine and white. And oddly thick, and it seemed to cover more of their body than regular armor should. They both moved with Thaddaeus as he approached Yume. "I was especially impressed with your use of magic," he said, addressing her directly. "Tell me, how did you come to such power?"

Michelle continued to watch, when the man whom Zoe knew moved to talk to the other person, she moved to Zoe, and looked up at her"who was he?' she asked, not hearing azmi's introduction. blinks hearing her belly growl, then relized, she hadnt eaten in a while..and her bely was slowly going in. she started to float a little, but quickly lowered herself down, in fear, of the new one that entered..though he seemed ok with Yume's magic.. but she was still shy.
