Not all Who Wander are Lost

Mysterious's head turning as she heard it to. Watching her escort run off to deal with the matter. Her view shifting back to the building as she waited in silences.

A slight breeze blowing in from the dense forest. Taking in the scent the slight breeze had to offer it was an unsettling one. However that didn't last long as her ears twitched. Hearing the whole conversation just on the other side.

With a deep sigh she turned to make her way down there as well. Seeing what all the fuss was about she put her hand on Togema's shoulder almost as if being friendly as apposed to her snappy attitude just moments ago.
"Now now there is no need for everyone to start making a fuss... If you will not take them on as your responsibility then I will be responsible for them.. What were you going to do let them stay in the forest?" Mysterious asked though her words slightly less cold then before her tone said otherwise.

Togema took a surprised step backward when Rajnish spoke to him. A buzz rose in the small crowd of sntries not far behind the pair.
"I told you to stay there," Togema said when a hand hit his shoulder, becoming impatient. He shook his head with a defeated sigh. He didn't want to argue. "That thing bleeds, your head rolls," he warned in a soft voice. He really didn't want that unicorn around.
"I'll get you some supplies, I want all three of you out of here by nightfall in two days. Come," he said as he turned and began walking. He didn't speak to Rajnish, but to Jayda and Mysterious. "What do you need?"

“Well fine if he’s going to be that way. Jayda get off my back,” Rajnish said, he went back to talking only to the half-elf.

“All right, all right,” she muttered, dismounting the unicorn.

She looked to Togema, “Y’know, you aren’t making this any easier. We need to replenish supplies, and I could use a bath.”

As she spoke, Rajnish lowered his head and closed his eyes, his form shimmering for a moment, as if going out of focus, the shimmering increased until he was nothing but a blur. Then the shimmering stopped, as if it’d never happened and he stood before him in his humanoid form, eyes still closed.

“And I’m sure he’d like a bath too,” Jayda finished up, motioning to Rajnish, apparently unfazed by his sudden change.

Rajnish opened his eyes and crossed his arms. The glare he held towards Togema was back full force.

"Sorry I was never one for rules." Mysterious replied with when he refereed to her staying at the building.

"That thing bleeds, your head rolls,"

Leaning near Togema's ear she whispered to him mockingly.

"You have be quaking with fear" She said in her cold tone slightly watching the transformation of the unicorn.

Sticking her neck out for others wasn't something she liked to do, but it was becoming habit now. Just waiting with her cloak around her body swaging softly in the light breeze.

"Some rest and maybe a point in the direction out of this place would be nice for me." Answering as she thought about it a little more. "A bath would be nice too." She smirked thinking of the trouble this was putting on the small village and Togema.

Togema took a short moment to really look at Jayda for the first time. He'd calmed down a bit, though still tense with the prescence of that beast. "Well, if ease was my aim, you'd not be here, beautiful," he told Jayda as he led them through the town again. The same people that had watched he and Mysterious on their first journey through the small village were joined by several others who actually stood to watch as the beast transformed.
Togema only glanced to Rajnish's new form. He shook his head and sighed again. Then Mysterious addressed him. He felt that blinding rage swelter for a moment before letting it simmer back down as he kept his calm demeanor. "Fear, no," he mumbled, nervous despite his words.
"You can all bathe at the stream, if that's alright," he offered, walking out past the circle of buildings and back into the forest. "It's really your only choice. Rest can be taken care of later, and if you want directions, you gotta have a goal in mind."

Beautiful? She snorted, she thought herself nothing compared to Mysterious. This guy must have weird tastes.

Her own thoughts were echoed by Rajnish as he chimed in, “That guy must have strange tastes.”

She frowned, she may have agreed with him but she didn’t need to here him say it. She was just happy he didn’t say it aloud.

Ignoring Rajnish for the time being she glanced to Togema, “Alrighty, but you’re gonna have to give me some detailed directions to this stream.”

Rajnish snickered, “Yeah, Jayda here takes directionless to a whole new level.”

Jayda turned sharply to face Rajnish and glare at him, he responded merely with a haughty smirk.

Hearing were they would have to take a bath Mysterious was hesitate to do so. At least with others around there were parts and features she liked to keep serest for as long as she could.

Still the promise of a bath sounded ever so nice compared to her current state. Giving the others a look when they suggested directions it never really dawned on her to ask. It might have made this easier for her. Turning to Toge ma knowing she was making a lasting impression on him she smirked.

"I am looking for a set of ruins somewhere in this forest.... A special set of ruins that used to be a gateway. Someone like yourself should know where it is, if you have been here awhile." Mysterious smirked having sense the demon on him a while back.

Togema hadn't gotten the reaction he'd expected from Jayda. Oh well, there'd be more chances to get a rise out of her. "I'll lead you there," he offered. "Listen and you can hear the stream from here," he said, quieting for a second. The stream wasn't that far away, enough that it's bubbling sound was hearable to the group just barely over the other noises of the forest.
"This little town wasn't settled here for no reason," he said as he walked through some of the foliage on the outside of The Outpost. "As for your ruins, miss..." he still had no name for her. Oh well. He continued, "Whatever you are insinuating, I suggest you leave it alone. I know nothing of it."
At least he was being honest in his lack of knowledge. He knew she knew what he was. The question was more did she know who he was, did she know the bounties on his head? He'd be wary of this one for the duration of their acquaintance.

Following the others down to the stream Mysterious couldn't help but roll her eyes. The way Togema phrased his words made him sound like some kind of guide. Taking tourist out to see the miserable sites this place had to offer. As the brush was pulled back Mysterious eyed the stream, at least it would be cold aside from this heat this place seemed to trap within it.

"As for your ruins, miss..."

"Mysterious" She added for him as Togema spoke once again. Turning as he admit to knowing nothing about these ruins she was surprised. Knowing although a demon he was in fact telling the truth. A troubled look coming over her face as she thought about what he had said.

Mysterious could sense it the gate, and if she could then Togema should be able to. It was odd the whispers form it must not have been strong enough yet she thought.

The way Togema seemed to get almost touchy when she just touched on the subject of what he was. She would leave it alone for now, but she wanted to push more.

Jayda decided to ignore Rajnish for now and followed the others, thankful that they were leading the way. She honestly didn’t trust her sense of smell when it came to leading herself somewhere. She frowned, wondering if maybe she was cursed.

She glanced back to Rajnish, “So are you gonna bathe with us or not?”

“I intended to,” Rajnish replied.

“Well… if you’re gonna stay like that, you’re going some place else.”

“Oh come on, I’ve already seen you nude and it’s nothing worth looking at anyways.”

Ouch. If that wasn’t a hit to the ego right there.

Rajnish smirked; he knew he finally hit a soft spot. Jayda was never one to care about her looks, but carelessness can only go so far.

Jayda glanced to Rajnish, arms crossed, “Well I’m sure this nice lady here won’t like you looking at her. Go somewhere else.”

Rajnish snorted and went to find someplace he wouldn’t be able to see the women.

Jayda glanced to Mysterious, “If you want privacy, I can go somewhere else too.”

She then looked back to Togema, “And I think you should go somewhere else too, mister…”

Damn, didn’t know his name. Oh well, not that it mattered anyways.
