He looked at the bag, thinking to himself.
"Ski... Where did you get that money...?" he asked, unsure. He recalled when they met that she was more outside of the law, so to speak, and he wasn't sure if this was part of that. He didn't plan on using it if it wasn't rightfully earned. He couldn't bring himself to.

That wasn't the reply Ski was looking for but she would still answer him. Yes it was gotten from stealing but not from people that couldn't go without a few here and there. And it was hardly stealing from the men that were after her.
"I have been running for my life for years now. You don't think what just happened the other day was the first encounter I have had did you? Being employed by my family they have enough to spare. So why not take a little back." She said not really sure if Sirion understood just where she was getting it from.
"I steel it from my father's men. Really it is rightfully mine."

He looked it over.
"Well, why don't you just pay for it yourself, then, if it really is yours? That way I won't feel as bad, and we can still visit the springs," he said, looking down. Even though it belonged to her father's men, something just felt wrong about spending it. It wasn't his. They worked for it, even if they were cruel, it was still earned. He couldn't just take that away, no. He looked back up, wondering what Ski would say. He hoped she'd see his intentions on this one, and why he saw it as being wrong.

Ski could understand his position. Even at still such a young age she could understand. She had learned much in the world, and had learned to respect other's for what they believed.
"Alright, if that is what you want." She said softly looking at him as she took the pouch from the table. "I have been doing this for a long time... I know it isn't right and even in some long streched truth this stuff is not rightfully mine. That people have earned it. But I don't see why such awful people should have anything at all. I have seen starving kids offer their hands out for food from a weathly merchant you would reply with a swift kick. It isn't right, so I take from them and I use the money where I see it is needed the most. I know that doesn't make it right, but I just hope you don't think less of me for it."
It made her feel slightly odd that she cared so much of what Sirion thought of her. She never really cared what anyone had thought before, expect her father. His words were always the only thing that ever hurt her. Other then that people didn't bother her at all.

"I don't think less of you, don't even begin to get that thought through your head," he said, "But I can't bring myself to do such a thing, is all. I'm sorry, but... that's the way it is."
He sighed, feeling a little bit guilty after the analogy of the merchant and the child. Not because of what he'd do in that situation. But because he had been in that situation once. One of the few times in his life he wished he could do over.
"... That's probably not the best topic to speak of while we're relaxing, though. We just got here, and we should be enjoying ourselves. Agreed?" he asked.

Pushing off the legs of the table she balanced on her chair with two legs looking up.
"How do you enjoy yourself?" She asked realizing how silly that question sounded.
"I mean what do people do for fun? I never understood that really. Is there really something a person can do that can make them feel joyful and happy?" She asked just blankly never really having a moment to sit back and relax let alone to anything but worry.

"Enjoy... myself...?" he said slowly, going into a state of thought. He couldn't come up with an answer. So he simply shrugged, "I suppose I get enjoyment from giving joy to others, helping them where I can, but otherwise... I haven't the slightest clue. Yourself?"
He crossed his arms, leaning back in the chair, looking at her seriously. No matter how hard he tried, he wasn't able to come up with a real answer.

Ski had to think there wasn't a single moment she could think of doing anything that brought her joy. Everything she did was for the sack of seeing the next day.
"No, I am sorry. The only things I have done in my life are train, train, make mistakes, and run for my life. There is no time for enjoying anything when all that is happening." she said as she went to glance at him taking notice to his serious look which was the reason she lost her balance. The chair falling back with Ski in it as she made a loud thud on the floor. Feeling slightly embarrassed again.
"Ouch.. I am so clumsy."

He stood to his feet, walking over to her and holding out his hand to her.
"Then perhaps... It's best we visit the springs. It will give us both something to enjoy in our depressing ways of having fun," he said, smiling slightly, "So how about it? Let's enjoy ourselves tonight, as if it were the last night we had together."
He wasn't normally a 'live-for-the-moment' type of person. But he was willing to make an exception here.

Ski smiled hiding the fact she was blushing again. Why she blushed so much around him she couldn't really tell. Maybe it was because he saw her as a girl. Just a normal girl, where as everyone she knew before always saw her as a burden or a thieving young boy. This was so different.
Taking his hand she pulled herself up.
"Alright, maybe we both might actually have some fun." she said with a light laugh ready to get out and get cleaned up. Sirion was the one who heard of the springs so she waited for him to lead the way.
