Sirion turned after hearing the closet open, not exactly piecing together what the noise was instantly. He would change after he slept, he decided. That was when he noticed the scars. He didn't want to ask, he didn't want to bring up bad memories, but... They looked bad. He looked at them for a second longer, trying to figure it out in his mind, then talking so she wouldn't get the feeling that he was looking at something he shouldn't.
"So are you alright, Ski? You still seem somewhat... Shaken," he said, concerned for her.

Ski stopped as she heard his voice, glancing over her shoulder she just looked at him before slipping the new shirt over her head.
"Yes, I am fine." She said putting the shirt on she pulled her hair out from under the shirt before closing the closet door and moving to the bed. Kneeling on it she moved closer to Sirion her long hair falling all around her as she looked down at the bed.
"I just didn't like seeing you get so hurt. I feel so dumb for getting caught off guard like that. I should have known better." she said to him.

"Didn't I already say not to blame yourself?" he asked seriously. She didn't need any unnecessary guilt, especially not now, "I was prepared for things like this to happen when I told you I'd become your guardian. Besides, people in my line of work aren't expected to stay safe all of the time... I'm trained for this sort of thing, so don't worry."
He looked at her eyes, hoping he had put her mind at ease, if only by a little. She didn't need the stress, the guilt... Sirion only wished that there was a place they could go to escape all of this. He sighed mentally, waiting for her response.

"I know Sirion, I know what you agreed to." She said looking at him now and taking his hand.
"I just didn't like it. " she said finally as she looked at him she didn't want to feel this way now. It was over with so she smiled to show she was going to be ok.
"We should get some rest if we are leaving in the morning." She said with a smile heading to the top of the bed to sneak under the covers.

"Right..." he said. He wasn't about to push his luck going to the closet now, not with his wound being so recently healed. Not now that he had a chance to rest. So he took off his blood-soaked shirt, slipping under the covers before taking off his pants as well, laying them on the nightstand next to him. He still had shorts on, so he would be good. He got more comfortable under the blankets, not having been in a good bed for a long while, wrapping his arms around Ski's body and resting his forehead against the back of her head. He felt at peace once more. He felt able to relax now.
He rubbed Ski's stomach slightly with one hand, enjoying the peace while he had it.

Feeling Sirion move under the covers she was delighted to find his arms around her. Enjoying the feeling of having him so close to her now. Her hand resting on his as she thumb rubbed over his hand. Leaning up she blew out the candle that was the last light in the room.
This was relaxing especially after everything that had happened.
"Where will we go tomorrow Sirion?" she asked with half a yawn attached to it.

"I don't know. We'll have to see when the time arrives. Though I do have an idea," he said to her, knowing how tired she must have been. He pulled himself slightly closer to her before closing his own eyes. He wasn't going to rest yet, he wanted to enjoy this moment for as long as he could before the new day arrived, but he knew he'd have to rest eventually. That time would come when it came, though.
Now was the time to enjoy the silence and the peace.

Ski nodded to his statement as her fingers fell between his. This was new to her someone holding her like this but it felt so nice. Her body was so relaxed even though it was nice to be on the bed it was even nicer to be with Sirion.
Holding his hand she brought it up from her stomach and kissed his fingertips lightly as they laid there. The soft muffled sounds of the tavern below lightly filtering into the room.

He smiled.
"So did you enjoy the day, then?" he asked as she layed there. He knew he wouldn't be able to sleep, but he didn't know if she'd be able to or not. He sat up slightly, leaning on his elbow, looking at Ski and waiting for a response, still holding her hand.

Ski turned with a smile laying on her back looking up at him.
"Up until the assassin part? Yes, i think we both had an enjoyable day or am I wrong?" she asked kissing his fingers again as she brought her other hand up to the side of his face caressing it softly.
