Griping her cloak tightly around her body Sinoa was starting think about just how much of a bad idea this was. A sand storm had picked up considerable as she made her way to the small town.
Having heard the rumors of the small village tucked away in the folds of the desert. It was said just outside the wastelands of sand had been plagued with nightly ghostly visits. It wouldn't have sparked any type of interested expect that now people had gone missing.
As a priestess it was her duty to find out what it was all about. Still as the sands swirled around her light green cloak she had started to think at the very least she should have hired a guide.

Veron moved his head down so the bottom part of his face was protected by his dark coloured jacket, a hand coming up ti protect his eyes and just dealing with the sand in his ears, there was little he could do with it anyway.
It had been stupid fleeing to the desert, he had hoped to find something, or someone, and admittedly he had. Some innocent travellor had fallen prey to his bloodlust, leaving his body to be covered by the sand. He didn't care, not like the person was going to survive anyway. there were other things out in these sands. Or so he had heard from rumors.
Not that he beleived those pointless things.
Still trudging on was proving him nothing and the heat was getting to his head making him dizzy, he had ran out of water long before the sun had come up for a new day.
With what little scenery there was, and how shrouded it had become through the sandstorm he was suprised, thinking he had stumbled onto a small village of sorts.

Glancing up Sinoa could barley see through the storm that was picking up. The sun was somewhere above her but she wasn't sure it was just a clouded blot in the sky at this point.
Not even able to make out the village she knew it had to be somewhere around here. Not even knowing how close she was to it she stumbled just on the outskirts of it. Falling into the sand as the winds picked up.
It might not have been the best of ideas but she did just lay there certainty that she neither wanted to nor could get up at this point.

Veron didn't even move into the village, just take shelter against two walls that looked like a T togethor not wanting to go in the town or village or whatever this place seemed to be just wanting to be away from people alltogethor, and anyway, they would only throw him out. Atleast he had found some shelter of sorts now.
Giving the storm half an hour he was more than surprised at how it had managed to blow over so quickly, or was it that he hadn't noticed how long he had ended up walking in it. Still waiting for it to cler completely, shaking his head while trying to get rid of all the sand, feeling uncomfortable in his clothing. Still he needed to drink something.
Standing up while rushing himself down he looked around, scanning whatever seemed to be around him, his gaze catching a haze of colour in the desert, or was it? He squinted trying to understand what he was staring at, now generally convinced he was going mad due to the heat. Still curiosity got the better of him, taking a few steps forward wonderinf if whatever it was was a creature or person.

Having passed out durging the storm Sinoa's hood was blowing in the light breeze now. Flashing the green cloth about with some of her red hair blowing along with the wind.
Sinoa groaned lightly barley with it as she tried to move her body. It just refused to do so as her figured seemed to move ever so slightly in the distance.

The more compassionate side of him gripped Veron as his gaze flickered again on the figure of the body, taking a hesitant step forward before moving toward the woman his joints aching from the heat but he wasn't quite sure whether this person was alive or not.
Course she is you idiot, she moved
Bending down slightly he moved his hands underneath her body, having to really tense his arms to hold her up as he moved back toward the village he had yet to explore, his compasionate side now gripping him completely, not wanting to see her hurt now, though wondering how long she had been out in the sun, in the heat, he was having trouble and he had managed to find a little bit of shade, he wasn't quite sure how long she'd been there...
Moving into the village he was hesitant, unsure if this place was a ghost town

Just slightly opening her eyes she glanced up at the person carrying her. But that didn't last for long. Every part of her body was weak and sensitive as she groaned again from the movement.
Half cuddling into Veron's chest as he carried her into town. It hadn't been that long in the sun but the desert was having an effect on Sinoa. Not able to do much but rest in Veron's arms completely unaware of what was happening around her at this point.

Veron wasn't sure what was going on, he was quick but the heat and fatigue had gotten to him, after walking upto a door to a stone built house he had gone to kick it only to find a spear head at his neck, a gruff looking man with a rugged look over looking him and the girl, grunting lightly, not letting the spear drop from it's position till he had stepped back, somewhat confused,
"Sorry.." the mans voice was rough, "I thought you were one of them" he was still looking over the two, with Sinoa knocked out and Veron looking exhausted it was clear they weren't an immediate threat of any sort, the man moving past to let them in his home

Sinoa managed to glance at the man before drifting in and out of complete awareness.
The man offering his open allowed them to enter. Glancing outside it looked as if another sand storm was about to pick up again. These storms were becoming more frequent and harsh each time. Not doubt something to do with the disappearances and the ghostly visitors.
Moving into the house the man cleared a spot on a long wood bench with a few cushions upon it for Veron to lay Sinoa.
"You two make an odd pair." the man just simply remarked with no sign of friendly tone.

"So, a village in the desert has been having some problems with ghosts... people are missing... Now the only problem is I can't find the damned place!" Elewyr shouted slightly, mostly to himself. It was getting hard to see in the sandstorm, and his shoulders were starting to ache. His cloak offered no protection from the sand, he was heading against the wind, and sand had an annoying habit of getting into his eyes. He was glad he hadn't worn his armor, or else he wouldn't have made any progress in these sands. Unfortunately, since he couldn't wear it, he had to carry it in a makeshift bag. And not only that, but he was also carrying his great sword on his back. He should have packed lighter, he thought later on.
"Now, I could swear I've been heading west for at least a few hours... Oh, gods, if I got myself lost... Wait, maybe..." he put his hand over his eyes to stop the sand. He could see the silhouette of buildings. "Hah! Found it! ... Or, at least I think I did... Ah, who gives a damn, it's got buildings, and I need a place to stay until the storm's over..." He stopped and regained his composure, then slightly grinned as he started a jog to the village. He was already fatigued and hot, but the sooner he got to shade the better.
As soon as he reached the town, there were no signs of life as far as he could see. He didn't like this. A deserted town, or even just a deserted area of a town, was never a good sign. He slung the bag holding his armor onto the ground next to him, watching his surroundings as he drew his great sword in his right hand. He knew he wouldn't last two seconds in a fight out in these streets with these conditions, but hopefully the mere sight of the sword would scare off any would-be attackers. He picked up his bag and looked around, then saw an open door. He decided to take the chance, and headed towards it. As soon as he reached it, he headed in, hoping for the best...
