Life in the deep places of the world had taught the assassin to be ever vigilant and as he worked to build a fire out of the wood the others had gathered his eyes followed the royal troops. Earolas was growing quite agitated with their presence to say the least and had had about enough of their prying eyes.
Taking a break from the work the Drow entered what would be their shelter area. There in the darkness he would not be seen his skills would assure this. Unsheathing his swords Earolas pulled a small dark vial from a pouch hanging from his belt. There under the cover of darkness the assassin went to work carefully and methodically coating his blades with a potent poison that would temporarily knock a target unconscious. If these royal bastards wanted trouble then they would most certainly have it. Returning his equipment to its proper place the masked man emerged from the shadows of the shelter.
Earolas looked towards the others assembled nearby, “If anyone has need of me I shall be keeping watch throughout the night.”
Uttering a magical command in the language of his ancestors the shadowy figure began to levitate. Higher and higher the Drow went until he was able to reach one of the lower hanging boughs about 30 ft. up. Taking hold of the branch Earolas swung his body around it landing in a seated position. Here he would spend the evening watching and waiting for what he wasn’t entirely sure, but a little patience would unravel the mystery naturally. All he had to do was sit back and wait, a deadly advantage for one such as he.

Michelle smiled, and nodded her head, she moved to do as requested of her, acting as if nothing odd just happened. "could i get the water?' she asked Zoe, tilting her head, she lets the firewood fall down, as she turns, looking up to Zoe.

The minute Yume heard Earolas speak in his native language she went rigid once more, the wood she’d gathered feel from her hands. It all made perfect sense now.
She turned to where she’d last seen him, he wasn’t there… he had to be somewhere. She went to their soon to be shelter and looked in, not there… where did he go. She stopped and brought a hand to her head. What was it he’d said… ah… that’s right, she knew that word… he’d levitated.
She looked up, having been standing almost directly beneath him. He was hard to see and would’ve missed him if not for the light catching his silver mask for a split second. She muttered something in a language not known of this world, an angelic language.
“Earolas Baenre… of the drow house Baenre. It may have taken me a bit longer than it should have, but I now know who and what you are. If you so much as harm a hair on any of these innocents heads, so help me God I will kill you myself,” the message was sent telepathically, she didn’t want to cause a riot and possibly get some of these people killed if they knew what he was and he was forced to fight them.
With that said, she looked back to the pile of sticks she’d dropped on the ground, then to the fire which was just starting to become a somewhat decent size. With the muttering of another word, the fire roared into a large blaze before dwindling to a normal, healthy size.
She could’ve kicked herself for taking so long to realize what he was. It was so obvious now that she thought about it. How could she have forgotten?
She pulled all the cloth that covered her face up and looked to Azmi, rage at her own stupidity burning in her eyes, “I’m going for a walk.”
She then turned and headed into the woods.

Millie gave a friendly smile when she passed the merchant, but she was careful to stay her distance. After the attack they had just been through, she was a bit weary of meeting new faces. The poor soul was caught in a daze…She decided to let him live in his day dream for a little longer. After walking for a few moments more, Millie came across a place where the water suddenly became quite deep and wide. She spotted a few fallen logs and high grass of where the fish can hide from predators. “This will be a good place as any.” She sighed taking off her cloak and boots. Rolling up the bottom of her pants, she wadded in. The beaver’s movements were slow as to not scare any of their dinner. After standing still of what seemed like an eternity, Millie dove under, grasping a good sized fish in her hands.

Taiyo had been watching the group for quite a while now, but it seems it paid off. The beaver seems to have gone away from the main group. She had been starting to get nervous, some of them seemed to realize she was watching them. Thankfully they didn't come looking for her. She followed the beaver to a riverside, where she just sat there, seemingly just staring at the water.
'That's a bit odd', Taiyo thought, but oh well. It gave her an opportunity to get closer without being noticed. She positioned herself right behind the beaver, in a bush near the bank. 'This is perfect', she thought. She was well within striking range without being seen. She curled up, just the right moment...steady...NOW!
Taiyo lunged! Unfortunately, the beaver took that same moment to dive for a fish, which sent Taiyo over her target and splashing nearby. Underwater, she watched the beaver grab a fish. She grabbed a fish! Taiyo had never been able to manage that before. Taiyo surfaced, forgetting the furball was supposed to be dinner. She asked, mostly out of surprise, "How'd you do that?!"

Satisfied with the fire, Zoe smiled at Michelle. How useful her abilites had become, and such a kind child as well. "Of course!" Zoe answered her with a cheerful tone. Aside from that short battle that had occurred and some tenseness from the group, things seemed to be going very well so far. After all, Thaddaeus had shown up! On second thought, how odd...
Zoe walked to Thaddaeus, unintimidated by the present guards. "Thaddaeus, friend," Zoe said with her usual smile and naive cheer, "What business have you here in these woods."
Thaddaeus seemed hesitant to answer. Zoe understood that, being a prince, he had many things to do which he could not speak of, but it was still odd that he was here. "I have someone I must personally speak to in a small village out here. We're attempting to create a diplomatic and civil relationship with a group of people who have set up there."
Zoe nodded and understood that there was likely more to the story than that. She, for the first time since his arrival, took a look past his familiar face and into his eyes, a contact which he uncharacteristically avoided. His eyes were different somehow...
Azmi had been drawn quickly from Kanael before he had the chance to respond. "Mind if I tag along, Yume?" Azmi answered her, "I'd like to take the chance to scout the area and familiarize myself with it before nightfall. And it's always better to travel in pairs, epecially after...those beasts."
In truth, Azmi knew the area well. It was live creatures and beings he was looking for, anything that could be a threat. Things were getting unusually crowded in these woods this day.

Michelle smiled to Zoe, what a kind lady, she thought, then watches her move to the prince, then watches them, a bit, blinking, then glances to the fire a bit. before closing her eyes, concentrating a little, after a while, hte fire forms into sokme kind of being, which begines todance in its place.

Millie came out of the water only to see a face in front of hers. Millie’s face went blank for a moment or two before she gave a loud scream. The fish she was holding gave a fierce jump, managing to get out of her grip. Millie gave a small curse as she tried to catch it, only to have it slip out of her grip again and again- just like trying to grab a bar of soap. When she was about to hit the water, Millie was able to grab the tail. Then, with all her might, she tossed the fish on the ground by the water. The beaver rose out of the water with her dripping hair plastered to her face and a death glare placed onto the female before her. “You almost made me lose our dinner!” she yelled, pointing over to the fish jumping helplessly on the land. Millie’s face then became soft when the female asked how she was able to catch the fish. “Oh, it’s nothing all that complicated…” she stated, her voice was soft and kind. “It’s just about patience….Here; I’ll offer you a deal. I’ll teach you how to catch fish, but you’ll add the fish you caught with mine and come eat with the people I’m traveling with. Our camp isn’t to far away.” She offered, giving a smile. That way, even if either one of them caught very little; they could combine their catch so that everyone would have some food to eat.

Yume was raging, unable to believe she could’ve been that stupid. How could she have let him stay with the party as long as he did? And now it was too late. There was no way she could think of an excuse to get him to leave or to convince the group he needed to leave.
She calmed down a good bit when she heard Azmi’s voice. Part of her wanted to deny him. She wanted to be alone, stretch her wings and meditate. But there was the part of her that just couldn’t say no. Azmi seemed he needed to get away just as much as she did.
“You may.”
She had already entered the forest when Azmi approached her, stopping to respond to him before walking forward once more. They had gotten a good bit into the woods when she heard Millie scream. Her eyes widened and she turned to where it came from, running towards the sound. She wasn’t used to running in the woods, but for that much was doing pretty good. The natural grace of an angel helped immensely in that matter.
When she arrived at the bank of the stream she let out a sigh of relief. No Fallen, no beasts, and no blood… everything seemed all right. It was then she noticed the other girl in the stream with Millie. This girl obviously wasn’t human, just from the few features that showed above the water. She peered into the water and noticed that the girl’s lower body… was a snake’s. She wasn’t sure how to react to this. It was entirely possible that the girl meant no harm… and the group already had it’s fair share of strange creatures in it.
She just looked around, “Are you all right, Mille?”

((Please don't kill me... >.>; ))
Kanael hadn't wanted to go with Millie, and when he heard the screame he nearly kicked himself for it. He followed the scream to find Millie, Yume, Azmi, and the snake child. He sighed when he noticed noone was actually hurt. He wanted for Millie to respond to Yume's question before going in and grabbing fish.
