The Beaver screamed, then scolded Taiyo, and it startled her. She nearly lost her balance in the water, and her upper half bobbed a bit. But then the Beaver offered to teach her to fish. "Really?! You'll teach me? OK! I'll take you up on that." She started to swim over to the shallows. That's when she noticed the newcomers. She had seen them before, as part of the group the talking beaver had been traveling with. Most likely they came to check on what she now realized wasn't a pet, but a friend of thiers. She addressed the woman on the shore.
"Sorry, I was just really hungry, so...ummm...but I didn't know she could talk, and she offered to teach me to fish! I told her I'll help her out." She decided to not mention she had tried to eat her, as it seemed they didn't realize it. Besides, it seemed they were taking her appearance rather well. She had a really good feeling about this. This was the first time she'd been around this many people for a long time. That said, she forgot that it was usually polite to introduce oneself. "OH! I forgot! My name's Taiyo...ummm, good to meet you all."
She slithered up onto the shore, and unslung a small sack from around her. "Prolly shoulda taken this off earlier...", and she tossed it over nearby. It was made with a waterproofed leather, so the things inside would be dry. She just didn't want it getting in her way.
Just to make sure it was alright with...the woman had called the beaver 'Millie' so...Millie's friends, she addressed them before returning to the stream. "So, if it's alright, can I stay and help?"

Azmi arrived, walking up behind Yume to stand a small distance to her right. He knew Yume had arrived before he had and hadn't heard sounds of battle or really any more sounds at all, so he wasn't worried. As frightening as Yume's powers were, he trusted her to defend any member of the group.
He looked over to Millie and Taiyo, and when he arrived, Taiyo was in the middle of nervously explaining herself. Azmi shook his head. What an odd creature Taiyo was. Then again, what an odd creature he was himself. And Millie as well. And Zoe and Michelle...and everyone. What an odd group! Azmi blinked, getting his mind back from where it had wandered.
"..it's alright, can I stay and help?"
Azmi looked to Yume, a questioning look on his face. "She seems harmless," he said before returning his attention to Taiyo.
"Any help would be appreciated, Taiyo," he said to her, though she was some distance away. He noticed one of the royal guards a bit of a distance down the stream.
And then Kanael was there. There was a lot to keep track of... Azmi turned to him. He almost scolded him for leaving Millie alone. But nothing had happened, so Azmi addressed him, "Did you notice the fire? You said you could cook, you any good with fish?"

Zoe looked in the direction of the scream, noticed that everyone else seemed to be right on top of the incident before it happened. Michelle seemed rather unaffected by it. Zoe felt the need to go see what was going on, but the instinct to protect the child called stronger, so she waited patiently near the fire for any more clues as to what was going on.
Thaddaeus's conversation with Zoe had been cut short, and one of the guards quickly pulled him in the opposite direction of the stream. Thaddaeus didn't resist, but rather let himself disappear silently into the trees.

"I can make your mouth water with a rock and a mushroom," Kanael pointed out. He smiled at Azmi. "Is there anything else you'd like?" He grabbed the fish and looked to him, and waited for either him or someone else to answer.

Millie gave an apologetic grin when she saw the crowd gathering by the river. Sure, she knew she had a set of lungs on her-but she didn’t know that they were that good.
“Uh, yeah…I hope you all don’t mind that I offered her to join. She just seemed like she needed a good fishing lesson or two.” She offered, giving a small giggle.
Once everyone realized that Taiyo was no threat, Millie motioned for the new member of the group to stand beside her in the water. “Nice to meet ya Taiyo, I’m Millie.” She chimed, giving a small nod of her head. Bending over the water, Millie decided to start the lesson.
“Okay. So the first thing you need to know about fishing is tha- HEY!! LEGGO MY FISH!!” she yelled, pointing a finger at Kanael. “Once I’m done you’ll get the fish…until then, leave ‘em alone!”
Mind you, her anger wasn’t entirely directed Kaneal. No, her sudden outburst was due to a horrible past from family fishing. For some reason, they found it quite hilarious to hide her fish once she caught it….Needless to say she didn’t find it humorous at all. So, she has been very protective of her what she caught ever since.

Yume sighed, had her lower face been visible, one could’ve seen the relieved smile on her face. Instead she merely nodded, “I have no problems with her staying if our leader has no problems.”
She looked to the people around her, “Sorry for the interruption, please continue.”
With that said, she took her leave. Part of her wanted to get ahead of Azmi should he decide to follow her, so she left while he spoke to Kanael. Despite her rather cumbersome outfit, she moved quickly and quietly through the forest. She wanted some alone time, even if it were a few moments before Azmi had caught up to her.
She stopped when she’s located a large boulder sitting in the forest. A tree had grown over it, it’s roots webbing across the rocky surface so that it looked almost as if the tree held onto the rock. She looked around, seeing no one, she spread her great ebony wings, they slipping through two “sleeves” in her cloak and with a few wing beats landed a top of the rock, and sat against the tree. One of the setting sun’s final rays had streamed through the trees and she sat in it.
She leaned her head back and closed her eyes, drinking in the silence around her and the warmth from the nearly set sun’s rays. The light gave a soft sheen to her wings, which having been caught up in the moment she forgot to hide.

Taiyo readily slithered beside Millie in the stream. She was happy to be getting fishing lessons, even happier to currently have company. Even better, it seems that she would be allowed to stay with them all a little longer. This was probably the best day she'd had in a long time.
She listened intently as Millie started her explination. Then Millie yelled at Kanael and startled her. She jumped and the tip of her tail shished out of the water out of reflex. Taiyo quickly relaxed it again, and it splashed back in the water as she let out a sigh.
"Definately plenty of surprises in this group...it'll take some getting used to. It's been a long time since I've had any contact with anyone else. I'm really happy I ran into you."
She then looked back at the water, "But enough about that, I'm starving, let's get some fish!"

Azmi smiled a little. This was more how he liked it. Less battling, more friendliness. It was quite a relief. "No, Millie, that's a good thing," Azmi answered her and Yume at once.
When Millie shouted, Azmi ducked, a bit surprised. It wasn't a problem, but he decided to let the group do their thing. In the meanwhile, he'd take a scout walk with...Yume? Where'd she go? Azmi walked back into the woods, following the light scent that Yume left behind. It was a good few moments before Azmi found her. Immediately upon sighting her, wings spread, Azmi ducked behind a tree, going right into his natural habit of stealth. Was this something she would rather have him not see? Is this existence something he would worry about? Best not to lie, Azmi decided after watching from his hiding spot for a few moments.
He let his silent steps become more relaxed and louder as he approached her. It was really a beautiful sight, one that he would revel in now, and remember for the rest of his life. The image of the sunlight glinting off the angel's black wings as she relaxed on that rock...
"Yume," he asked for her attention softly, attempting not to startle her.

Michelle looked around, then to Zoe, then moved to her, then grabed hold of her hand, "wanna talk and get to know each other better?' she asked, she truly wanted to know Zoe better, A adorable little smile formed on her lips.

Yume jumped when she heard Azmi’s voice and looked at him with wide eyes.
“Azmi!”
Oh, this couldn’t be happening. She let her guard down and let one of them see her wings. This wasn’t good; this wasn’t good at all.
“Please! Don’t tell anyone!” she said, hopping of the rock, her wings flaring to slow her descent.
There was no use hiding them right now, Azmi’s already seen them. So long as no one else followed, she’d be okay.
“It’s…. not something I like people to know…”
