Sirion wasn't quite sure of what was happening either. It had been a while since he'd been like this with anyone, and he could swear he remembered swearing off being close with anyone, but none of that mattered now. He took the other hand that was on her shoulder and put it on her back, bringing her closer to him at the same time.
"... You're blushing again, Ski," he said quietly.

Ski could only look up at him. "I know, I can't help it." she said nearly wanting to say she was sorry for it again. She felt his hand at her back and bring her so close too. She swallowed hard for a second.
Nearly jealous of Sirion he seemed to clam and cool about this, was he not feeling it too? Ski's heart was racing, and she felt so warm and flushed she didn't know why. Feel so sky and timide around him all the time, but so safe at the very same time. Not once breaking her eye contact she allowed him to move her closer feeling her chest press against his bear chest in that moment, she swore her heart skipped a beat or even a few.

He smiled calmly. She seemed so nervous, it seemed both funny and cruel to Sirion at the same time.
"... Am I making you uncomfortable...?" he asked sincerely. He didn't want to continue on if she couldn't go further, if he was making her feel awkward.
Somewhere in the distance and owl hooted.

Ski shook her head lightly. It wasn't like that, even though she seemed so nervous it wasn't uncomfortable at all.
"No... It is not that... Just..." she was stumbling to explain it was hard to put into words and slightly embarrassing too. "I have never been this close to anyone before.... I feel as though..." She paused for another moment as she blushed deeper feeling even more embarrassed now.
"I would only disappoint you."

"I don't think that's possible, Ski... I don't think there's anything you could do to truly disappoint me," he said reassuringly, rocking gently side to side with her in his arms, "You don't give yourself enough credit is what I think. You underestimate yourself. I think you're a wonderful person, a beautiful person... No, I could never be disappointed with you."
He moved some of the hair out of her face, hoping h e had cheered her up, even if only a little. It was sad, really. He hoped she'd at least find some wisdom in his words. He smiled a gentle smile, waiting for her to say anything.

Smiling at him Sirion always seemed to know just what to say to make her feel better. No matter the moment it was always something so insightful she couldn't help but be brought some long needed comfort.
"Thank you Sirion, You always make me feel so good about myself." she said the rose color on her cheeks fading slightly as she smiled at him. Loving the feeling of his hand moving the hair from her face. his touch was so inviting the she didn't even understand why it was like that.

"It's what I live for, Ski."
With that he leaned to her, going to her level before giving her a brief but sincere kiss on the lips, after pulling away slowly, hoping her reaction would be favorable as he looked into her eyes. A breeze blew past as he held her, but he didn't feel it. The wind was nothing compared to the warmth of her body.

Ski smiled lightly at the kiss. She had never been kissed before and it seemed to send her heart racing again. Her stomach felt weird but she didn't mind it at all as she looked at him. Leaning up slightly she had went to kiss him this time but she flinched and drew back grabbing her side. The movement must had been wrong and opened it again.
"I'm sorry." Said through clenched teeth it was hurting more now and it had started to bleed. Her other wounds seemed like nothing compared to this one.

Damn, should have seen that coming... Sirion thought as he looked at her. He felt bad for forgetting about the wound.
"Well, c'mon, I suppose that's enough swimming for today then... Perhaps it's time to set up camp. Here," he said, picking her up once more, not caring how bloody he got. He didn't want her moving in those conditions. He walked her out of the water and set her on the grass, wondering how he'd do this.
"So I don't suppose you'd consider just going to sleep now, hm?" he asked. If not, which was likely, then he'd have to find some food to eat, start up a fire... He didn't know how he was going to do all that, but he'd find a way if he needed to.

Ski was flinching it was hurting a great deal more then before but she didn't want him to worry. Normally she would want to stay up but her body and mind was so drained from the day. Resting on the grass she reached for her old shirt drapping it over her shoulders to keep her warm.
"I think I just want to rest for the night. We need to be able to travel tomorrow right? I will need to rest. " She said as she cuddled on her side in the grass just really wanting to sleep at the moment. thought she didn't know why.
