A question for a question. Alright, Sirion thought.
"I believe I'm able to be a bit of both. They needed weapons and armor, and I had the skills to oblige them. Otherwise I would've served with the militia," he responded. "So, now that we've got about everything else out of the way, perhaps we should get to where things should have started. I'm Sirion. You are...?"
He stood, arms crossed, looking at her, waiting for a response.

It made sense at least. Still she saw him being more of just a warrior then anything.
Now it was on to the introductions. That was something that was long over due at this point. It was weird that the exchanging of names didn't come sooner.
"Pleasure, I am Skilynn Van" she cringed a little forgetting to leave out her last name. She was sure he had heard of the Van's. It was a name known just about every where. If not known well then at least heard of. That family and their magical and brutal reputations.

"Ah, last name's Selven, sorry," he said, not having heard of her last name before. He wasn't exactly in touch with the rest of the world. "Anyways, let's head out, see if there's any work that needs doing. I'm sure the capt-"
A guard burst in once more.
"Sir, captain wishes an audience with you! He said to be there as soon as you can, and to bring the girl with you," he said, then nodding and running off.
"Speak of the devils... Alright, I guess it's finally time to figure out what this is all about," Sirion said. "Coming, Skilynn?" he said, holding the door for her.

It was nice he didn't know her family. It brought a sense of peace about it now. Seeing the man rush in she was starting to wonder if that is all they did around here was rush about.
it was rather silly but you never know how other people live. Not really liking the idea she was requested there as well. It was an awful thing. She didn't want to try and use her magic again. It was so embarrassing.
Nodding at he held the door open for her. Skilynn followed not very happy about going to see this captain at all.

"Relax, I'm sure he's only going to commend you for your actions, then probably send us on a suicide mission..." Sirion joked, one of the rare moments of his humor. "But regardless, at least if he does send us off, we'll be prepared. Or is there another reason you're so tense right now?" he said as he walked with her towards the barracks. Sirion felt a bit more at ease now, though he didn't know why. Maybe it was her. He thought about it in his head, waiting for her to speak.

"Tense? I am not tense" she lied badly with a nervous laugh. "Just don' t like to bring attention on myself. It is never a good thing." She said walking a long with him. But his joked eased her some. Taking a deep breath she was ready she just hoped it wasn't anything bad or they planed to use her for some kind of secert weapon of some sort.
Worse yet she hoped they don't thinks he brought them down on the village.

"Sure you aren't tense. Alright, well, let's see what he wants," he said, opening the door to the barracks, then soon opening the door to the captain's room. The captain's face lit up at the sight of the two.
"Ah! Good, good. Sirion, glad to see you're still alive."
Sirion nodded.
"And milady, I don't know who you are, but I don't much care. You've done this town a tremendous service. Thanks would not express our gratitude enough," he said with a huge smile. "Now, unfortunately, we cannot slow down. We must press the attack while we can. With this powerful sorceress amongst us, I believe we'll be able to raid their lair and finish them off once and for all! Hah!"
Sirion looked to Skilynn, knowing the truth of the matter, but wondering if she wanted him to tell the captain, or if she wanted to do so herself.

Skilynn was more then happy to find out it was nothing bad. Letting out her breath as the captain went about. It was only when he said powerful sorceress that she groaned. Looking at Sirion she didn't want to say anything. She wasn't at all a powerful sorceress. But she coudln't bear to say anything.
It was too painful to remember just how useless she was. Lowering her head Ski turned away not really wanting to be here right now.

"Sir," Sirion interrupted. "With all due respect, I think the magics she used before have left her drained. Perhaps you should just send me and a small unit of your most experienced guards. These vampires aren't that bad, so I'm sure we'll be able to take them."
The captain sighed. "Milady, is this true? Have you used up all your power already? if so, then I shall follow Sirion's suggestion, and hope for the best, and hope they aren't massacred like the rest of them."
Sirion laughed in his mind. The guilt routine... Sirion gave Skilynn a look, hopefully saying "Don't fall for it", but he knew his eyes were hardly the type to be expressive. He left it up to her. Regardless of her answer, he would still follow her into battle anyway.

Ski gave an uneasy laugh. She was never good with guilt, but it really wasn't that which had gotten to her. It was more of the thought about Sirion getting hurt. It was silly to rush in like that even her father would think so. More then slightly conflicted about all of this she groaned.
"Not at all, I just need time to regain my strength. We should attack in the morning. They will be more off guard durging the day light we can use that to our advantage. Lets just hope they won't attack durging the night." She said slightly uneasy and very unsure of what she was getting herself into at this point.
If I could just remember that spell
she thought to herself now.
