It was like a great weight had been taken off her shoulders as Shimo practically fell next to her. Dropping down next to him she cuddled close laying her head in his lap.
"Is a warmer place going to be better for you though?" she asked remembering all to well how he handle heat. Her tail shifting slightly as she glanced up at him from his lap. Taking notice to his foot she had wondered if he could even walk anymore.

Shimo nodded slightly, “I’ll be fine. I’ve started to get more used to warmer places… still don’t like them all that much, but they don’t bother me nearly as much as they did.”
In all honesty, he was better accustomed to warmth, but in the past two years hadn’t spent much time near it. Lriania wouldn’t have been found where it was warm.
“Are you alright to walk?” he asked, looking down at her and stroking her hair.

Sitting up she looked at Shimo.
"Yes I can manage to walk." She said still feeling dizzy but she didn't want to worry him with something she knew would pass. Looking over his leg Serenity paused for a moment before looking back at him.
"What about you?" She asked knowing his legging was bothering him. She would have to be blind not to have noticed.
"Will you be able to walk? I think I could partly carry you... I... errrr... I am kind of losing my strength." She said lowering her ears against her head. feeling ashame still of her half demon problems they seemed to be.

“I’ll be fine so long as I have something to help support me. The bone isn’t broken, it’s just injured, nothing a little rest won’t solve,” he said, smiling at her.
He stood, using the wall to help him up, “It just hurts to walk on it too much.”
He looked down at the various things on the cave floor and started picking it up and putting it back into his bag. “I went as far as a split in the tunnel. One path led up and the other down… once we get some rest we should try to see if any of them lead out of here.”

Serenity had tried to help pick up the things laying about the floor but each time she bent down her head would start spinning. Finally giving up she just placed her sword and bow at her side.
Looking at Shimo she smirked sneaking up behind him. Moving between him and the wall. His arm resting around the back of her neck as she held it in place with her hand interlocking their fingers.
Her other hand coming around his lower back to support him.
"Then don't walk on it silly." She said making it clear she was going to be his support.
Nodding down the tunnel Serenity just repeated what he had said. "So then this little cave is just along the way? right before the split or right at it?" She asked looking up through the hole they had made. The storm not showing any signs of letting up at all.

“Before it,” Shimo replied.
He was grateful for Serenity’s help, but he wasn’t too sure she should be doing what she was doing. He looked down to her, “Thanks..”
Once everything was picked up he looked to the tunnel, “Well, let’s get going.”
He slung his pack over his shoulder and started down the tunnel.

Serenity just nodded helping Shimo down the tunnel. It was slightly darker down aways. Normally it wouldn't have bothered her, but in her state and the phase of the full moon so close Serenity had some difficultly.
Shaking her head every now and then and blinking. That was one thing about being so high in the mountains the phasing of the moon were hard to keep track of. At least her body would let her know and what a perfect time at that. The temperature at their height could be deadly for an average human.
A slight hint of worry had crossed over her, before she couldn't have cared. But now things were different, much different.
Glancing at Shimo she smiled uneasily. Directing her view forward once again she could see where the tunnel formed off into the small cave Shimo was talking about.
Stopping she looked about. "Is this it?" She asked simply waiting for his reply.

“Yeah, this is it,” he replied, stepping into the cave and setting the pack on the ground, “It’s not much different, but it’s better than being out where the storm could still hit us.”
Not that it really mattered for Shimo, but he worried about Serenity. She’d said she was loosing strength and it’d taken Shimo quite a while to realize what she meant. He’d nearly forgotten how her demonic half waxed and waned with the phases of the moon. He frowned; not liking the idea of forgetting something about his Serenity, but things like that could be relearned… provided they made it out alive.
“Well, let’s get a camp going,” he said, looking about. There didn’t seem to be anything for him to make a fire with and that was frustrating. He needed to find a way to keep Serenity warm, and if they were still here when the full moon came his little lantern wouldn’t do the trick.
He sighed, the lantern would have to do for now. He could go out tomorrow after some rest and try to find some tinder, or a way out of this godforsaken place. He went about doing the various things he needed to do to set up camp, namely laying out his bedroll and checking supplies. Once he was done, he took a seat on his laid out bedroll (with help from Serenity) and looked to her.
“I don’t have any kind of tinder to make a fire with, so the lantern will have to do for now… after I get some rest I’ll go and see if I can find some, or even better find a way out of here.”

Helping Shimo move around in the small place she let him sit. Her head only getting worse she hated the feeling of pain. It always seemed to peek around this time and it was awful.
Relaxing next to Shim she sat but soon had to lay back with her eyes closed.
"Yes after some rest though... Hopefully this storm won't last for more then a day." she said though judging weather was not her trade mark skill. Her tail brushing against Shimo's leg as she tapped it.
"We always manage to get into some kind of grand series of problems don't we?" She half joked glancing up on him with a smile.

“It’s my sour luck,” Shimo replied, looking down to Serenity with a grin on his face.
He laid down next to Serenity and pulled her close to him, “We’ll get out of here… there’s no way I’m gonna let either of us die after spending all this time apart.”
His words might have been confident, but he had no idea if they’d really survive this ordeal or not. Of course, they’ve been through much worst… and he still had to pay some people back for last time.
