Serenity smiled as she felt his arms around her again. It was a feeling she had so missed before. Her own hands coming around his body as she cuddle close to Shimo.
Closing her eyes she nuzzled her nose under his chin content with having him so close again.
"I have faith in you my love." Was all she replied with even though in the back of her mind she knew the danger was still there for them both.

It wasn’t long before Shimo fell asleep. He was worn out and badly needed the rest. He awoke several hours later, and with a yawn knew he felt much better. He looked to Serenity and did his best to move without disturbing her.
He did a few practice steps on his leg. It hurt more today then it did yesterday, but that was to be expected. He’d had injuries like this before and knew the best thing for them was to continue using it despite the pain.
He limped over to his bag and started rummaging for food. He was low on supplies, figuring he could find what he needed in the mountains like he usually did. Unfortunately, they were in a bit of a situation where find food didn’t look likely till the reached the surface.
He pulled out his water bag and some nearly frozen bread and jerky. It was about the most he had, but he had enough for Serenity when she woke up.

It was shortly after Shimo awoke Serenity started to stir. Shifting on the ground and rolling to her other side as she stretched out her body. It was clear she was half asleep still as she stretched much like a dog would.
As her body elongated her right foot started to twitched kicking madly like an animals before she opened her eyes. Remembering she wasn't alone as she glance over to Shimo. Blushing madly at acting so dogish in font of him.
"Haha, how long have you been up?" she asked wondering if he even saw what she just had done.

“Not very long,” Shimo replied with a chuckle, “I got some food, but it’s pretty cold… well… close to frozen actually.”
He looked down at his meager offerings and sighed. He’d really need to find them something else to eat. They would survive long on his rations.
“So how are you feeling?”

Serenity sat up slowly her ears flashing down and her cheeks turning a deep red color as she blushed. His chuckle giving away that he had seen her.
Clearing her throat she just shook her head.
"No I am fine, I ate just the other day. Demons don't have to eat everyone remember." She said with a light laugh.
Moving beside him Serenity undid the bandage from her head.
"I am feeling better, I think my wound is all but healed could you check?" She asked him sweetly.

"Ah... seems I've forgotten.." he replied. He didn't like the fact that he'd forgotten something about her, but he tried not to show it.
Shimo welcomed the change of topic and nodded, "Sure, I'll look at your wound."
He moved close to her, looking over where the bandage had been. Best that he could tell she was healed. If only he could heal that fast.
"You're perfect," he said with a smile.

Serenity smiled at his comment. As he was done checking her head she leaned back against him looking up at him. Reaching back she took his hands and brought them around her.
"No ones perfect silly." She said kissing him lightly on the cheek as she smiled up at him. Enjoying the fact he was so close to her now. After so long it still seemed like a dream. Serenity was hoping it wasn't and if it was she didn't want to wake. Whatever state she was in, she just wanted to remain in it with Shimo.

"Well, you're perfect," he responded, stroking her hair.
After a few moments of sitting with Serenity he let out a long sigh, "Well, if we're going to get out of here, we should start moving."
He stood, using the wall to help him up. His leg was starting to feel better, but it was still sore and he'd still need help walking. Once again he cursed himself for dropping his walking stick before. The only way the leg was going to get any better is if he kept using it. He'd had leg injuries before, this was nothing compared to what the Razor Viper did to him years earlier.
He moved about the frozen room, collecting up what he could and eating as he went.

"Alright." Serenity said although not really wanting to leave the comfortable position in his arms. They did have to find a way out. If not it could be deadly here come night fall to her.
Watching Shimo as she too helped to pack things up she brought her bow from behind her back.
"Here, why don't you use this to help you walk?" She said handing it to him as she finished helping to clean up. Moving to the entrance of the small room of the cave. Looking out she glanced back and forth. it looked like just down the way was a split in the tunnels.
"Shimo these tunnels could go on for miles. This might not end well." She said starting to get slightly discouraged.

Shimo smiled when Serenity offered her bow to help him walk, "Thank you, this will be very helpful."
He walked up to her, having slung his bag over his shoulder, "I know it looks bad, but if we head this way, the tunnel splits and heads upward, hopefully that will lead us out of here."
He took a deep breath, "Well, let's go." With that said he started down the tunnel.
