"Hm? I'm more worried for your comfort than my own, Ski," he said. He was used to being uncomfortable more often than not, and this was nowhere near close to the most uncomfortable he's ever been. He looked at her, "You can go back to sleep if you'd like. I could take my armor off if that would make you more at ease."
He really didn't mind being stuck in one place, either. He had learned a great deal of patience from serving as the watch captain of his town, and he had learned ways to cope with boredom easily.

Ski sat up even though she was just fine the way it was. She didn't like him at least looking so uncomfortable. So if anything she would ask him to take off his armor for her even if it was really for himself.
Nodding she spoke softly bring her knees to her chest as she yawned. Waiting for him to remove his armor before settling back down. She really never did sleep this much. Her naps were always small and cat like. Ski could never afford to fully rest. This was something so different to her to be able to sleep. It was something her body badly needed.

He took off his cuirass and greaves when he got the chance, setting them to the side. He let her lay back on him, putting a hand on her shoulder. He would wait until she next woke before they set out again, he decided. Even a day was too long to spend out in the middle of nowhere. Even the smallest lead for her enemies was too much. So they would leave when she next woke, and would go to the nearest town.

Letting out another long yawn Ski laid right next to him again. Resting her head on his chest. Sirion just seemed so comfortable to lay with. Her hand resting up along his chest and shoulder. her fingers just reaching the tips of his hair.
As she slipped off into sleep again her fingers mindlessly twisted the ends of his hair. Delighting in the feeling as her body rested against his.

The next day came too soon. She was sleeping longer than normal. Was he really that good of a pillow, he thought? It didn't matter. He gently shook her, letting her know it was time to wake up. They needed to get moving soon. Sirion didn't like thinking of how close the enemy couldn't have gotten to them.
"Ski...? C'mon, Ski, time to wake up... We need to get moving..." he said softly.

Ski groaned lightly not thinking she had slept as long as she had. Burring her head deeper into his chest she groaned again making it clear she did not wan to get up at all. But finally opening her eyes she looked at him.
"Alright... I'm awake." she lied sitting up in a sleepy state as she streched letting out a long yawn before waiting for him to drag her to her feet.

"Alright then... I apologize for waking you, but we need to move. Who knows how long we could have spent here, and how much of a lead they could have gotten... Tell me, these men of your fathers, how competent, how skilled are they, exactly...?" he asked. He was trying to decide their next course of action. What he saw in the last village was nowhere near close to good from those men, but then, he didn't know them like she did.

Ski just walked along behind him yawning every for moments with her eyes half open. Trying to wake herself up for some reason she was so sleepy. However she knew the sooner they got to the next village or city the better off they would be.
"Well, they might not be the best fighters... But those two are the top illusionist of my father's rankings. You won't want to stay around them long enough to be caught up in one of their tricks. They always seem to end badly."

"I have been trained against such magics... But if you say to take caution with them, then cautious I'll be," Sirion replied. He was trained mentally against such magics from his days as a guard. It was mandatory training in his village, since many of the attacks were by creatures who used such magic. But he also didn't know how powerful those two were, on that hand, so he didn't know what to expect.
"... Let's see... We're heading..." he looked at the sun's position, "... West, I believe, and if I recall the maps of this area... The next village is about a half a day's walk from here, if we keep a constant pace. I might be off though..." he said. He was more talking to himself at the moment, trying to set things straight in his mind, "If this village doesn't work, then I believe there's a larger city that governs these two towns north by northeast from this next one... But I don't think we'll need to go there just yet. But it never hurts to have a backup plan. You okay with that?" he asked, finally turning his attention towards Ski again.

Ski just listen remembering the last time she had fallen victim to them. IT was just by pure luck she had made it out of the awful situation. Stumbling out of their grand illuision.
Listening to Sirion speak about the next town she run up in font of him walking backwards as she smiled to him. "Yes, it is always good to have a back up plan. Never can hurt especially when on the run. Always need to stay one step head of the people chasing you. " Stopping as she spoke she let Sirion walk pass her before running to catch up again.
"Sirion..." she said with a low tone now. "You do no by protecting me this could easily take up the rest of your life.... Are you really ready to do something like that for just me?"
