"Feeling better, Ski...? Did the mixture work...?" he asked, unsure. He made it like the recipe said, but he didn't know if he had somehow screwed it up. It did take a long time, after all. He looked at the wound. It was starting to close, which was a good sign. He hoped it cleared the sickness inside of her as well...
The cool morning breeze blew over them, the sun not giving off any warmth, as if for Ski's sake. Birds chirping. A beautiful scene belied the situation tremendously.

She shivered lightly as the wind blew lightly looking up at him.
"Yes I am feeling a little better... Thank you Sirion." She said looking around at the morning already. How much time had she wasted now? she wondered she looked around then back to him.
"Sirion don't you think we should get moving? No telling what will be sent our way next time." she said as she tired to sit up a little needing a little help with it though.

"I think we've killed the only two people who knew the general direction in which you were heading, so I think we'll be safe. Just rest for now, Ski, make sure you're good with your wound before we continue. Okay?" he said confidently. He wanted her to be in her prime when they left, and right now she was far from it. He put his hands on her shoulders and helped her sit up, sitting in front of her now, looking her in the eyes.

Ski looked at Sirion with those big brown eyes still holding a rather tired look that would only fade with time.
"Alright, I will try and get better. But what village are we heading for now?" she said not really knowing this area very well. She hadn't been in this direction yet.
"A hot bath, some food, and new clothes does sound nice doesn't it?" she said with a light smile as she shivered again from the morning air. Leaning toward him a little she wondered just how silly it would be if she asked him to hold her. It was rather chilly and she just wanted the warmth.

"Yeah, all that does sound nice... And in all honesty, I don't know much about the next town. Sorry," he said, "I think it's a bit large, more of a mining town, but that's it. And I'm not even sure if that's right."
He wrapped his arms around her, sensing her thoughts slightly. He hoped that's what she was thinking, at least.

Enjoying the feeling of his arms around her she rested her head on his chest. Sighing slightly as she looked up at him.
"Oh, well i guess we will see then." she said a little be brighter mood then before. "I am sure any town would have those things to offer at least I hope as much." She said cuddling into his chest.
"Not that sleeping in the grass while you hold me isn't nice." She said trying to fight the blush as she said it.

He nodded, looking into the sky, plotting out the events to come. He didn't know what would happen next, but he was trying to figure it out.
A breeze blew through the trees, sprinkling some leaves onto the water, creating ripples on the surface of the lake. The sky darkened, rain clouds forming. It looked as though a storm was approaching. He didn't mind, though. He would wait as long as he needed to before he left. He pointed up at the sky to let Ski know of the coming conditions, however.
"It seems all good things must come to an end eventually... I'll leave it up to you to decide when we leave," he said quietly.

Ski just relaxed in Sirion's arms holding him lightly. The warmth was more then welcomed as she sat there with him for a long while. It wasn't until the wind picked up slightly and Sirion pointed that she looked up to the sky. It was looking awful dark and threatening to rain on them. With Ski luck lately she would end up with some kind of cold or what not. She didn't want that to happen with all the action happening around them lately.
Looking up at him she waited a moment before speaking "Maybe we should go, I know we won't be the storm but at least she can save ourselves from being in it the whole time." She said breaking from his embrace.

"Agreed. The less time in the rain the better," he said. He stood, offering a hand to her as the rain started to lightly come down, "So is your wound any better, or will I be getting more exercise on the way there?" he asked jokingly.
Lightning flashed through the sky, followed shortly by a loud boom. The storm picked up quickly, but thankfully the rain wasn't coming any harder. Sirion only hoped he could get to the next town before that happened.

"I think i will be alright." Ski said as she took his hand pulling herself up to a stand. It wasn't completely healed but it was feeling much better at this point. It was healing slowly but after all she was just your average person, aside form her magic abilites, or rather disabilities as they were for her.
Looking up to the sky as the first few rain drops fell Ski looked back to Sirion. "A rather nasty storm maybe the harder rain will hold off a bit longer." she hoped as they had started to walk. Hoping more and more that the place was not that far.
